Join us for CMSMC’s Fall 2021 Symposium: Crime and Spectacle: Theft, Forgery, and Propaganda

Symposium Date:  Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11am ET (Via Zoom)
History has been defined by those who take risks, break rules, and challenge the very foundations of society. How do we handle the material remnants of past controversy and tragedy? How does material culture inspire deep psychological stress on those who experience it? What can past and present evidence tell us about how crimes and spectacles are endemic to society?  The symposium will consist of 5 presentations from emerging scholars and one keynote speaker.
